Breaking News - UEMS Elections have appointed Group II Chair: Patrick Magennis, Group II Secretary: Hans-Peter Ulrich

Group II is the surgical grouping within UEMS. There are 2 others, Group 1 - medicine and Group 3, the remaining specialties. The Chair of each Grouping sits with the Executive Committee of UEMS making it the Expanded Executive Committee. Patrick was re-elected for a second term, based on all the contributions he made during his first term. Hans-Peter Ulrich has previously served UEMS as a Vice President and will deliver his usual work-rate and pragmatism.

There is a lot of work involved in these roles, but there is also the opportunities to make contributions on behalf of the family of surgery.
